A persistent journalist since childhood, Stacey Mindich ’86 has been looking all her life for a great story to tell. She credits her time studying magazine journalism and English at Syracuse University and her faculty mentors for helping her develop as a writer, building a successful career with publications like The New York Times and Town & Country. Pivoting to theater, Mindich has produced Broadway shows such as Dear Evan Hansen and Annie and has earned the title of Grammy, Tony and Olivier Award-winning producer. At her core, the recipient of a 2022 Arents Award—the University’s highest alumni honor—just loves a good idea, and she’s eager to support Syracuse students in finding a few of their own.
