Military-Connected Students

Through the Early Commissioning Program (ECP), graduates of a military junior college can complete the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program in two years and earn a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Second Lieutenants can then continue their education at Syracuse University earning a four-year degree from Syracuse University while continuing their service in the Army National Guard or U.S. Army Reserves. These students complete ROTC at either Valley Forge Military Academy, Georgia Military College, Marion Military Institute, or New Mexico Military Institute.
