The Student Government Association (SGA) is your undergraduate student government. Serving as a representative voice for students in University affairs, SGA focuses on initiatives to help make your undergraduate experience the best it can be.

The Mission of the Student Government Association

The Student Government Association creates an inclusive University community where the rights of the students are reflected and respected. As the official student governing and advocacy body for Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF undergraduates, SGA works with the University’s administrators to listen, respond and take action to improve the student experience for all.

Get Involved in SGA

SGA is made up of elected student representatives from each school/college. If you become a member of SGA, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your peers while gaining valuable leadership experience.

My biggest piece of advice for any college student is to get involved. Find something you're passionate about, be a part of a student organization, and contribute to something great.
