Dan Dillon

Senior Vice President for Business Development

Dan Dillon is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning consumer products, restaurants, and higher education. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for Business Development at Syracuse University. 

Liz oversees operations for Syracuse University Global. She has been with Syracuse University since 2014, leading in various roles before taking on the creation and implementation of the Office of Online Student Success, the student services foundation of SU Global, in 2019. A strategic leader across various functional areas, Liz’s specific interests and experiences include online programming, operational management, team supervision and development, non-traditional learners, military student success, program development, crisis management, and coordinated student services efforts. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Education from the University at Buffalo and is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University. She is a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Air Force, serving in the New York Air National Guard. Additionally, she is a trained facilitator and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.

Steve joined Syracuse University in 2017, beginning his career as a Program Coordinator for the Boots to Business program at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF). He later transitioned to the Center for Online and Digital Learning, where he has served as both Project Manager and Lead Project Manager. Prior to his work at Syracuse University, Steve completed six years of service in the United States Air Force and then worked as a firefighter and EMT. In 2025, he earned his MPS in Project Management from Syracuse University and achieved certification as a Professional Project Manager through PMI.
