Dan Dillon

Senior Vice President for Business Development

Dan Dillon is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning consumer products, restaurants, and higher education. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for Business Development at Syracuse University. 

Liz directs the Office of Online Student Success (OSS) at Syracuse University. In this capacity, she is responsible for the student services portfolio for Syracuse University Global, including inquiry management, admissions, advising, retention, and success strategies for part-time online students. She has been with Syracuse University since 2014, leading in various roles before taking on the creation and implementation of OSS in 2019.  A strategic leader across various functional areas, Liz’s specific interests and experiences include online programming, organizational development, military student success, staff supervision, program development, crisis management, and coordinated student services efforts. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Education from the University at Buffalo and is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University. She is a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Air Force, serving in the New York Air National Guard. Additionally, she is a trained facilitator and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.

Dr. Judy Teng oversees online program design and development at Syracuse University's College of Professional Studies, where she also serves as Associate Teaching Professor. With 20+ years in higher education, she has led institutional transitions to online learning at George Washington University and Syracuse University, bringing expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and faculty training across diverse student populations.

A strategic leader in educational technology and innovation, Dr. Teng's specific interests include emerging technologies, multimedia integration, assessment and evaluation, and program development. She has published research and presented at national and international conferences, while serving on Syracuse University's Academic Strategic Planning Committee, Middle State Review Committee, and chairing multiple institutional committees including the Provost Online Education Committee. She is an active member of the Online Learning Consortium (OLC), AACE, and EDUCAUSE, and has coordinated regional conferences for NERCOMP. Dr. Teng holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from SUNY Albany, an M.S. in Educational Psychology from The College of Saint Rose, and maintains professional certifications from EDUCAUSE, OLC, and Quality Matters in course and program quality control, program scaling, and learning innovation and leadership.
