Unraveling the Secrets of Evolution

Scott Pitnick is an evolutionary biologist, member of the center for Reproductive Evolution and biology professor in the College of Arts and Sciences. As part of his work, he focuses on mapping genomes to phonemes to identify reproductive traits in these species and map out how organisms evolve. This research in complex traits, helps evolutionary biologists understand the genetics of diseases in humans.
