Learning Communities and Interest Housing

Are you looking to connect with students who share your passions? Participating in a learning community or interest housing provides you the opportunity to live and learn with other students who have similar interests.

Learning Communities

Learning communities allow you to live and take classes with a group of students who share a common academic major or interest. Participation can help you develop skills and attitudes that support academic achievement; improve the quality of your thinking and communication skills; foster a better understanding of yourself and others; and balance your academic and social life.

Interest Housing

Interest housing provides an opportunity to live with students who share similar interests or lifestyles, such as substance-free, quiet life, or transfer student housing. There is no academic component associated with interest housing.
