When: January 28, 2018
Where: Carrier Dome

Keynote speaker is Angela Rye, political commentator for CNN and NPR; former executive director/general counsel of the Congressional Black Caucus for the 112th Congress; principal/CEO of the political advocacy and strategic consulting firm IMPACT Strategies. The event includes dinner, the keynote address, presentation of the Unsung Hero Awards, and student/community performances. Doors open and dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. The formal program begins at 5:30 p.m.

  • Winter Carnival: Week of outdoor and indoor activities to celebrate winter
  • National Orange Day: March 24, the anniversary of Syracuse University's founding
  • Block Party: Annual concert in the Carrier Dome at the end of the school year

Fall SemesterLink

  • Juice Jam: Music festival at the beginning of the school year, hosted by University Union
  • Orange Central: Once-a-year celebration for homecoming and class reunions
  • Family Weekend: Loved ones and friends are invited to visit campus for a weekend in the fall
