Personal Interviews

While not required, prospective first-year and transfer students have the opportunity to schedule a personal interview with an admissions representative.

Please Note: Fall Interview and Event Registration
We will continue to offer on-campus and virtual events and virtual interview opportunities throughout fall 2021. Dates and registration will be posted here in mid-August. Please be sure to check back then. We can’t wait to meet you!

You’ll get the chance to discuss your educational experiences and interests. An interview is an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about Syracuse University in a personal setting. It is also a great way to help us learn more about your personal experiences and goals.

Interviews are available beginning July 6 through December using Zoom. Interviews typically last about 30 minutes and will be considered in our application review process.

We highly recommend students participate in a campus visit or virtual information session before scheduling a personal interview. Students may only take part in one interview.

Prospective First-Year Students

Please note, interviews are for high school seniors. Interviews are conducted by admissions representatives including staff and current students. Register for a virtual interview using the button below and selecting your desired date and time.
