Visit and Tour

All are welcome

The best way to know if Syracuse is the right fit for you is to visit our gorgeous campus in the heart of New York State.

Come walk through 150 years of history, and feel the Orange pride from the moment you arrive. The Office of Admissions welcomes visitors throughout the year with weekday campus visits, Syracuse Saturdays, and Orange Previews. Choose the option that fits your schedule and interests, then reserve your spot.

Open House

Orange Preview is an open house program for prospective students and their families for which visitors should plan to spend the day on campus. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

Weekday Campus Visits

Come see us, and let us show you around a little. View the beautiful, iconic campus in any season, tour our state-of-the-art facilities, and gain insight into the undergraduate experience. Plan your visit and get ready to make yourself at home.

Syracuse Saturdays

These visits give students an overview of the University’s offerings and campus experience. They include an information session hosted by an admissions officer, faculty, and students, and a campus tour. Residence halls are not a part of Syracuse Saturdays.

Duration: 9:15-11:00 a.m.

Note: Syracuse Saturdays will be available in the fall.

In Your Area

We make every effort to meet with prospective students around the U.S. and abroad. Join us for an information session, personal interview, or admitted students program at one of our satellite locations.

Personal Interviews

While not required, prospective first-year and transfer students have the opportunity to schedule a personal interview with an admissions representative. Representatives include staff, current students, and alumni.

Graduate Visit Options

Tour campus, discuss research and coursework with faculty, and get a feel for what it’s like to live in Syracuse. Visits are program specific, so start with your school or college.

Visit Options for Admitted Students

The Office of Admissions invites admitted students to visit campus throughout the spring.
