What To Expect

Plan to spend the day learning what it means to be a Syracuse University student. The day begins with check-in between 8-9 a.m. and runs through the early afternoon .

The agenda includes:

  • Welcome session and video introduction
  • College information sessions
  • Get your questions answered
  • Campus tours
  • Opportunities to explore the colleges and other University offices

We recommend casual dress and comfortable shoes. Be prepared for all types of weather.

Spring Preview Schedule

8:30-9 a.m. Check-in: Refreshment will be available Schine Student Center
9:15 a.m. Welcome: Join fellow admitted students and families for a warm welcome that includes an introduction to academic and campus life Hendricks Chapel
10 a.m. College Sessions: Academic deans, faculty and students will present program facilities and opportunities. Dually admitted students may attend the morning college session of their choice. Groups will be escorted to the Schine Student Center at the conclusion of the College Session. Staff will lead you to your college location
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Get Your Questions Answered: Visit with representatives of the colleges, campus departments and student organizations that represent the Syracuse experience. Light refreshments will be served. Goldstein Auditorium, Schine Student Center
12-2 p.m. Campus Tours (leaves every 15 minutes): Join us for a guided campus tour led by a student ambassador from our University 100. Tours last approximately one hour. Schine Student Center  
2-2:45 p.m. Student Housing and Living Learning Communities Information Session: Join this session to learn more about living at Syracuse University. Schine Underground

Design Your Afternoon

Customize your afternoon. Visit another school or college or learn more about campus resources.

Admissions staff will be available from 1:30 – 4 p.m. at 401 University Place to answer questions and hear about your day.
