In January, Syverud left Washington University to begin his tenure as Syracuse University’s 12th Chancellor and President. And friends, former colleagues, and those involved in his selection say his well-documented passion for empowering the highest and best potential in students, faculty, and the institution as a whole will serve SU very well.
