  • Learn the principles of research methodology, sport economics, database management, finance, computer mathematics, statistics and economics.

The sport analytics degree also includes a mandatory foreign language requirement to prepare students for the global sport industry. Students finish their degree requirements by writing a senior thesis.

Senior Thesis

The Senior Thesis is a two-semester research project in the sport of your choice that gives you hands-on experience in the sport industry before graduating.

  • Choose to focus on athletes, teams, businesses or a combination as it relates to the sports industry.
  • Conduct background research, gather data, create models, run statistical relationships, visualize the relationships, and explain the results across a variety of formats.
  • Work one-on-one with a professor in the program to perform analytical research and analysis.
