Welcome!  The Board of Trustees is the governing body of Syracuse University, responsible for the educational mission and fiscal policies for the University.  Members of the Board guide the University towards it goals and vision and serve the public trust.  This website is intended to provide information about the Board of Trustees to members of the Syracuse University community.

Douglas Biklen

Douglas Biklen is Dean of the School of Education; and is a Professor in Cultural Foundations of Education and Teaching and Leadership, faculty in Disability Studies, and Director of the Institute on Communication and Inclusion at Syracuse University.

Donald Mitchell is professor of geography specializing in issues related to migratory labor and agricultural landscapes; urban public spaces (including their privatization); the homeless, hungry, and other marginal populations in U.S. cities; and cultural geography.
