New York Times media reporter Brian Stelter will visit the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Tuesday, Oct. 25. He will attend a screening of the documentary “Page One: Inside the New York Times” beginning at 6 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3, followed by a Q-and-A session. The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the New York Times, Newhouse’s Newspaper and Online Journalism department and Tully Center for Free Speech. Parking is available in SU pay lots. A reception will follow the event.
Stelter writes about television and the Web for the New York Times and its Media Decoder blog. Before joining the paper in 2007, he was the founder and editor of TVNewser, a leading blog about the television news industry, which he sold to mediabistro.com in 2004.
