Research conducted and published by faculty in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked in the top 100 of the best business school research by the University of Texas Dallas School of Management.
The UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™ records the top 100 business schools in North America and worldwide based on faculty research productivity in leading academic journals over a five-year period. The school has tracked the publications of business school faculty members since 1990 in 24 leading peer-reviewed academic journals. The current rankings are based on the number of articles published in those journals from 2005-2009. The Whitman School was ranked #98. This is the first year the Whitman School has been included on the list.
“The inclusion of the Whitman School on this list speaks volume of our faculty’s and doctoral students’ collective efforts in publishing in the most prestigious journals in business,” says Tridib Mazumdar, associate dean for faculty development and research and the Gendel Professor of Marketing. “We are pleased to be included for the first time this year and look forward to enhancing Whitman’s research reputation and impact in years to come.”
