The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a guest visit by Kristie Hall G’08, investment research and development analyst at Fidelity Investments, on Nov. 29. The visit will take place in room 402 at 1 p.m. and is co-sponsored by Whitman’s Graduate Programs Office and the Whitman Women in Business student organization. Hall will speak on asset allocation and tax-efficient investing, as well as hedging concentrated stock positions.
Hall began her career as a client service analyst at Goldman Sachs in 2001, eventually becoming the senior member of a team of client associates responsible for managing $2 billion in assets. In 2008, she went into the Fidelity Investments General Management Apprenticeship Program. Within this program, she rotated from fixed income research assistant, where she produced a tax planning guide, to client experience program manager, which concerned client relationships. Following those positions, she became a business analyst until rotating to her latest position, investment research and development analyst. Her responsibilities include hedging strategies and investment methodologies.
