The Whitman School of Management will host a presentation by Nathan Marafioti ’02 M.B.A., SC Johnson brand manager for Windex, on Friday, Feb. 19, starting at 12:15 p.m. Marafioti’s presentation on “What is Brand Management?” will take place in the Lender Auditorium, located in the concourse level of the Whitman School building. Part of the Marketing Spring Speaker Series, the event is free and open to the public and SU students, faculty and staff.
After graduating from the Whitman School, Marafioti launched his career with Bristol Myers Squibb. From there, he moved to Wells Dairy, where he worked as the associate brand manager for Blue Bunny Ice Cream. In 2007, he moved to SC Johnson as associate brand manager for Glade Carpet and Room and was quickly promoted to brand manager, where he is responsible for strategic planning, new product development and commercialization, business analysis, promotions, market research and brand equity. Marafioti earned his undergraduate degree at Binghamton University.
