Say Yes to Education will host its first Leadership Summit for more than 300 student organizations Saturday, Feb. 20, from 1-4 p.m. in the Life Sciences Complex atrium on the Syracuse University campus. Nottingham High School alumna and Harvard University graduate Natasha Alford, who recently left a high-salary hedge fund to follow her calling to work in the urban school reform effort, will be the keynote speaker.
SU students will be invited to join the Say Yes movement and embody transformative leadership to further impact their local community as a Scholarship in Action campus.
The day will include interactive workshops, social networking opportunities and leadership panels with executive leaders, and will provide placements for student organizations to begin their work as Yes Partners.
