Syracuse University Project Advance® (SUPA) has announced the publication of “Our Courses Your Classroom®: Research on Syracuse University Courses Taught in High School,” edited by Gerald S. Edmonds, director of SUPA, and Sari Z. Signorelli, associate director of SUPA. Collected for the first time in one volume is a retrospective of SUPA’s research since its inception in 1972.
Edmonds and Signorelli selected the best studies from three decades of research to provide a solid reference for administrators, students and faculty who are interested in developing and/or evaluating their own concurrent enrollment programs.
“Research and evaluation are important components of a quality concurrent enrollment program, and we hope this book will aid and encourage more published research for educators to utilize,” says Edmonds.

SUPA is a partnership program between SU and more than 170 high schools across New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Massachusetts and Maine. Through SUPA, high school students take college-level courses in their own schools during the regularly scheduled school day. Currently, SUPA offers 31 courses across 19 academic disciplines.
