Syracuse University faculty and current students will welcome potential graduate students interested in addiction studies, child and family studies, public health, marriage and family therapy, nutrition science and dietetics, and social work during the College of Human Ecology’s fall information session on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. in Lyman Hall. Free parking is available.
Detailed information will also be available on the new M.S. in child & family health in the global community. The 36-credit hour graduate program offers students an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing the health and well-being of children and families in the context of the global community. The program will examine a broad spectrum of factors, including infectious and chronic diseases, genetics and disabilities that require families to interface with medical care providers, service agencies and policy decision makers in their communities.
