"All of the 19 students in the SU Abroad Program in Santiago, Chile are accounted for and safe. Some damage has been reported in Santiago, however the epicenter of the earthquake was in Concepción, a city about 200 miles south of Santiago. Our resident director in Santiago has spoken with all of our students and they have been instructed to stay with their host families until further notice. We have also reached out to the students' parents to let them know their son or daughter is safe. If anyone has a concern, they can reach me at 315-450-7001. Our thoughts are with the people of Chile during this very difficult time."
