Frank J. Bisignano, chief administrative officer of JPMorgan Chase, will speak Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Syracuse University as part of the Martin and Phyllis Berman Distinguished Lecture Series at the Whitman School of Management. His lecture, "Challenges in the Current Environment," will take place at 4 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium, located on the concourse level of the Whitman School building. It is free and open to the public.
Since 2005, Bisignano has been a member of JPMorgan Chase's operating and executive committees. The $2.3 trillion financial services firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, small business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset management and private equity, and operates in 60 countries.
Bisignano is responsible for the firm's global technology and operations. He is also an executive sponsor of the company's collaboration with SU to develop education and work experience innovations in the area of financial services information technology and research projects of interest to both organizations. His previous experience includes leadership roles at Citigroup Inc., Smith Barney, First Fidelity Bancorporation and Shearson Lehman Brothers. A native of New York, Bisignano holds degrees from Newport University and the University of Kansas.
The Martin and Phyllis Berman Distinguished Lecture Series brings prominent business leaders to Whitman to share their expertise and perspectives with the University community and Central New York executives.
