Subjects are needed for a study examining the insulin response to physical activity during frequent meal consumption. This study will give you a better understanding of your body’s insulin response to frequent calorie consumption, with and without exercise.
Subjects will be:
• Overweight by 25% or (BMI>30kg/m2)
• Between the ages of 21-35y
• Healthy- no CV disease, diabetes, medications that can affect metabolism
• Physically active less than 3 days a week
Subjects will come to the Human Performance Lab at Syracuse University for one 4-hour and three 12-hour testing sessions. Each subject will receive a free body fat analysis and fitness testing. Financial compensation.
