Hendricks Chapel

Among the religious services and organizations that may be of particular interest to our friends from the Middle East are:

Hendricks Chapel is a diverse religious, spiritual, and cultural learning environment seeking to generate a welcoming and caring community within Syracuse University. The Chapel values differences as a resource for enrichment, and supports the University’s core values by creatively promoting interfaith understanding and cooperation through program and example.

Islamic Chaplaincy is about support for Muslim students, faculty, and staff in all religious and spiritual needs for development and growth. It is about accommodations, openness, and understanding - not judgment or restriction. It aims at improving understanding, and representation of Muslim cultures and communities around the world through sharing of universal values - discussing issues of concern to humanity with the hope of improving relations and collaboration among peoples of the world.

Hillel is the central address for serving the Jewish community on campus, as well as offering cultural programs for the community at large. Students are encouraged to participate in community service programs, social action, athletics, social and cultural events, Jewish studies, Birthright Israel, Shabbat, and holiday celebrations. It’s mission is to create a diverse, dynamic, and welcoming Jewish community on the Syracuse University campus.

Chabad House is a "home away from home" for all Jewish students attending SU and ESF.  It offers the highest standards of kosher home-cooked meals and traditional services for Friday night and Shabbot morning, classes on a wide range of topics, fun and social events, and educational and ritual activities, in addition to counseling and spiritual guidance to individual students.
