Onondaga Community College 2 + 2 Program

To participate in Onondaga Community College's  2 + 2 Program, students must:

Syracuse University offers merit based scholarships to qualifying transfer students, up to $6000.  Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission to recognize prior academic achievement. Scholarships are awarded regardless of financial need. Students do not need to apply for financial aid to be considered for scholarships.

Financial aid packages for OCC 2 + 2 students are intended to cover tuition, mandatory fees, housing, meals, supplies and books for those students who demonstrate financial need equal to or greater than these costs. Financial aid may include any combination of the following: Syracuse University Grant, Federal Grants, NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), Federal Direct loans and Federal Work Study.

Syracuse University’s Net Price Calculator, located at, will provide you with an estimate of what your financial aid award and costs may look like if you were enrolled at SU today as part of the OCC 2 + 2 Program. We hope that knowing this will provide some assurance that SU will be an affordable option for you when you complete your first two years at OCC.  We encourage you to visit this site and complete your calculation.

For further details regarding the OCC 2 + 2 Program, visit the SU Office of Admissions website. If you do not fit this program criterion, we welcome your application to Syracuse University as a general transfer student.
