January
  • Continue your external scholarship search throughout the year by visiting the Office of Scholarship Programs' scholarship listings. This is the time of year when scholarship applications are at their peak, so take advantage of these new opportunities!


February

March
  • Begin applying for summer financial aid after you return from spring break.

April
  • April 15 - Syracuse University FAFSA and CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE filing deadline.

May

June
  • Early June - View your Financial Aid Award on  MySlice
  • Direct Loan borrowers: Check your MySlice  To Do List and complete all loan tasks.
  • Federal Perkins Loan - Federal Perkins borrowers should complete all loan tasks appearing on your MySlice  Financial Aid To Do List.
  • June 1 - Bursar Payment Plan application deadline.
  • June 1 - Federal parent and student loan application deadline, if you wish these funds to appear on your July Bursar bill.

July
  • Fall semester bill (Pre-bill) due in full to Bursar's Office, if not already on the payment plan.

August

September
  • Mid-September - Last day to drop classes without a financial penalty (usually 3 weeks after classes begin).
  • Review Financial Aid Policies on Part-time enrollment.
