The Women of Distinction Awards are awarded every year to women who have made significant contributions to leadership, academics, service, social justice, or their profession.

Each year, Syracuse University recognizes the many women of distinction who touch our lives. This year the award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 10 at 3 p.m. Awards will be determined by a committee consisting of Syracuse University faculty, staff and students who will consider each member’s recommendations to select the final award recipients.

Deadline for applications is Feb. 12. The three categories are: faculty/staff, student (undergrad and graduate) and community member (Francis McMillian Parks Award). The program will feature keynote speaker Janet Eilber, Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Dance Company.
