INAUGURAL PHANSTIEL LECTURE

The first Phanstiel Lecture—supported by a generous gift from SU Trustee Howie Phanstiel ’70, G’71 and Louise Phanstiel—will feature John J. Wood, a former Microsoft executive and founder of Room to Read, an organization transforming the lives of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education.
The Phanstiel Lecture's goal is to explain the importance of giving back and reinforce the satisfaction and excitement that comes from philanthropic action.
