Please join us for breakfast as we welcome Bob Thompson, Newhouse's Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture Professor, who will be discussing current trends in television programming.

The event will be held at Windows on the Green at Drumlins, Nottingham Road, Syracuse.  Breakfast buffet will begin at 8:00 am with Park speaking at 8:00 am.  Pre-and post-talk gives plenty of time to meet your fellow alumni, connect, and network.

Price for the event is $12 at the door and includes breakfast, event, tax, and gratuities.  Ample free parking.  The menu consists of scrambled eggs, french toast, bagels and lox, in-house made sweet rolls, bacon, sausage, potatoes, selection of hot/cold cereals, fruit bar, omelet station, and coffee/tea.  Any special dietary requests can be accommodated by the sous chef.

Robert J. Thompson is the founding director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture at Syracuse University, where he is also a Trustee Professor of Television and Popular Culture at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He was a visiting professor for six summers at Cornell University and served for nine years as professor and director of the N.H.S.I. Television and Film Institute at Northwestern University.
