Greetings SU Geography Alumni!I hope your new year is starting well. I'm writing to invite you to be part of a new initiative in the Geography Department - our Syracuse Geographers Facebook page. We hope to make this Facebook page a place where former students (like you!) can interact with current geography students and share insight about the ins and outs of finding jobs or internships, applying to graduate school, and so on. When we talk to our alumni, a common theme is the importance of networking. You all, as former SU geography undergraduates, are great resources for our current students. Please ‘like’ our Facebook page and, while you're there, write a quick post about what you’re doing. Our current students (and we, as faculty!) would love to learn about how you are using your geography degree, where you are working, what you like about it, and so on. Plus, through our Facebook page, you can keep up with all the things happening in our department and reconnect with friends from your days in the GIA lab.
