Orange Circle Awards celebrated during Philanthropy Week at SU

On April 10, one of the highlights of Philanthropy Week at SU was the presentation of the Orange Circle Award to those making a difference on and off the SU campus: All Star C.A.S.T.; Eric ’66, G’68 and Judith Mower ’66, G’73, G’80, G’84; and Angela Robinson ’78. SU Day at Yankee Stadium II is June 30, 2012, and tickets are selling fast.

On June 30, Orange will be the color of the day at Yankee Stadium as over 1,500 alumni, fans, and friends celebrate SU Day at Yankee Stadium II! New this year, all ticket purchases have the option of participating in one of the popular picnics. Order tickets online.

Shane W. Evans ’93 to deliver convocation address May 12

A multi-talented artist and visionary, Shane W. Evans combines his world travels with his art to influence creative expression in others.

Shane Evans ’93 is this year’s convocation speaker for the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Among the many children’s books he has illustrated is Chocolate Me!, a wonderful book promoting healthy self-esteem and written by fellow alumnus Taye Diggs ’93. Read more.
