First-ever SU Day at Yankee Stadium a hit!

SU alumni enjoy a picnic on Yankee Stadium's Malibu Rooftop Deck prior to the game.

On June 26, more than 1,200 SU alumni, students, friends, and family took in SU Day at Yankee Stadium. It was also Old-Timers' Day, with 50 former Yankees at the stadium for the festivities. Gates opened at 10 a.m., giving people plenty of time to see the stadium, visit Monument Park, and picnic with other SU alumni. At 2:15, the Yankees took on the Colorado Rockies under a beautiful New York City sun, winning 6-4.

SUccess in the City events winding down

Alumni Relations and Career Services will bring SUccess in the City to San Francisco in August.

SUccess in the City 2011 events have offered more than 500 alumni and students across the country a valuable networking opportunity. The final three events will be held in Atlanta, Chicago, and San Francisco. If you're in one of these cities or plan to be on those dates, please join us! See the 2011 schedule and register. Thirty-three alumni clubs are hosting New Student Send-off events to give new students and parents a chance to learn more about life on campus before they arrive in August. The events connect students with other students from their area, and many of the clubs invite current students and University staff to answer questions that may have not been covered in the pre-admission visit.

Students entering Newhouse this fall receive special video message

Incoming Newhouse students received a personalized video welcome from two famous Newhouse alumni.
