On September 1, 2010, we asked Syracuse University alumni, parents, and friends to become part of our first-ever regional fundraising effort for The Campaign for Syracuse University. Today, we're happy to report that the ties between Boston and Syracuse are stronger than ever—just take a look at these statistics:

Many of you took advantage of the Thonis Challenge—a $250,000 commitment by SU Trustee and Wellesley resident Mike Thonis '72 to double the impact of new cash gifts to the campaign. In fact, the amount of eligible gifts totaled $400,955, exceeding the challenge by more than $150,000!
