- Orange Central Bash, featuring the Orange Circle Awards. It’s the biggest party at Orange Central, hosted by Pro Football Hall of Famer Floyd Little ′67 and DeBorah Little! Mingle, enjoy refreshments and live music, and applaud this year’s Orange Circle Award recipients—the Fisher House Foundation, Marshall M. Gelfand ’50, the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, Students in Free Enterprise, and the Miriam Loewy Friend Hillel Program and its SU’s Gift of Life Campaign—all altruistic SU people and organizations accomplishing great things in the service of others.
- NBA Preseason Basketball. “Marathon Man” Jonny Flynn and Wes Johnson return to the Carrier Dome in this preseason matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons. - The George Arents Awards. The Arents Award is Syracuse University’s highest alumni honor, recognizing those who are leaders in their fields. Held in conjunction with the Reunion Gala Luncheon, this year’s awards ceremony will honor Suzanne C. de Passe ’68; Brian P. McLane ’69; Bill Viola ’73, H’95; and Karen B. Winnick ’68.
- The Orange Central Showcase. Get a firsthand look at the great things happening as a result of SU’s longstanding commitment to disability rights, inclusiveness, support for our nation’s veterans and active military, and the arts. From panel discussions to video art installations, you’ll see how we’re creating positive change in the local community, across the country, and around the globe.
- BIG EAST Football. The ’Cuse is in the house Saturday, when the “Orange Empire” takes on the Pittsburgh Panthers in the Carrier Dome. Be there for all the fun and excitement!
