- Orange Central Bash, featuring the Orange Circle Awards. It’s the biggest party at Orange Central! Mingle, enjoy refreshments and live music, and applaud this year’s Orange Circle Award recipients—the Fisher House Foundation, Marshall M. Gelfand ’50, the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, Students in Free Enterprise, and Hillel at SU’s Gift of Life Campaign—all altruistic SU people and organizations accomplishing great things in the service of others.
- NBA Preseason Basketball. “Marathon Man” Jonny Flynn and Wes Johnson return to the Carrier Dome in this preseason matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons. - The George Arents Awards. The Arents Award is Syracuse University’s highest alumni honor, recognizing those who are leaders in their fields. Held in conjunction with the Reunion Gala Luncheon, this year’s awards ceremony will honor Suzanne C. de Passe ’68; Brian P. McLane ’69; Bill Viola ’73, H’95; and Karen B. Winnick ’68.
- The Orange Central Showcase. Get a firsthand look at the great things happening as a result of SU’s longstanding commitment to disability rights, inclusiveness, support for our nation’s veterans and active military, and the arts. From panel discussions to video art installations, you’ll see how we’re creating positive change in the local community, across the country, and around the globe.
