We can’t believe this is the year of our 10th Reunion, which will be celebrated during Orange Central Weekend, November 8-11, 2012. Where has the time gone?
For our class party, we will be part of the Generation Orange pre-game event on Saturday in the Life Sciences Atrium. This is the last year we can call ourselves members of Gen O as this is the group of alumni who are out of SU ten years or less. So let’s make sure our class is well represented at this event. Then the football team will take on Louisville in the Carrier Dome. The other weekend festivities will begin on Thursday, November 8 with the Arents Award dinner beginning at 5 p.m. This is when the University confers its highest alumni awards. On Friday there will be educational programming during the day followed by the traditional parade and pep rally early evening. A game watching party has been scheduled for Friday night so those of us not lucky enough to be in San Diego for the Battle on the Midway can still be part of the excitement as the men’s basketball team takes on San Diego State. We will get together for the Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning before saying our goodbyes until we meet again.
