Scheduling Interviews
An interview is an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about Syracuse University in a personal setting. It is also a great way to help us learn more about your educational and personal experiences, goals and interests.
Interviews are available from July through early December using Zoom. They typically last about 30 minutes and will be considered in our application review process. All interviews for Fall 2025 applicants will be conducted virtually; no interviews will be conducted in person on Syracuse University’s campus.
We highly recommend students participate in a campus visit or virtual information session before scheduling a personal interview. Students may only participate in one interview.
Please note that interviews are not required for admission to Syracuse University. However, due to interest, interviews often fill up well in advance. If you are interested in conducting an interview, it is recommended that you do not wait to register.
Prospective First-Year Students
We are no longer conducting interviews for Fall 2024 applicants. Interviews for Fall 2025 applicants will begin in July 2024.
Prospective International Students
We are no longer conducting interviews for Fall 2024 applicants. Interviews for Fall 2025 applicants will begin in July 2024.
Prospective Transfer Students
Meet with a member of the Transfer Team from the Office of Admissions. Submit a request by emailing transfertosu@syr.edu. We look forward to meeting you.
Regional Office Virtual Interviews
