Where to Stay

The Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center is the only hotel affiliated with Syracuse University. For reservations, visit its site or call 800.395.2105. Beginning May 13, 2024, the Sheraton will no longer be available for reservations.


A number of hotels are within walking distance of campus, with many others only short drives from the University. Visit Syracuse has a complete list of places to stay. To view hotels close to campus, select “Syracuse University” or “Downtown” as the location in the Regions menu.

Where to Eat

If you’re staying on or close to campus, Syracuse University and Marshall Street offer plenty of choices for dining out. Visit one of our many food courts, cafés or on-campus restaurants for a taste of Syracuse University. Just a few steps away from campus, you’ll find the Marshall Street area, home to more than 30 restaurants and cafés, including well-known national spots and local favorites serving Chinese, Korean, Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Thai and vegan cuisines. And don’t forget to try salt potatoes—a local favorite.
